Heidi has taken dance for a couple years but this December she had her first chance to have a real recital on the big stage. There were many different classes performing at the recital and consequently it was a full house. She looked forward to the day for a long time and we were so proud of her bravery in getting up and dancing her heart out on the front row.
They danced to "Christmas Shoes". Heidi just loves that song and had a great time performing the dance.
One of the highlights of the day was having Jenna, our ten year old neighbor, come along to watch. Jenna is quite the dancer and often holds little dance "playdates" with Heidi so to have her in the audience was especially great!
Now it's onto the second semester of her ballet class. She's already looking forward to the April recital.
