Annual September Traditions

September brought the whisperings of fall and some of our favorite Kentucky traditions!

Every Labor Day we drive out to Reed Valley Orchard and enjoy some apple picking.

We got the quite the haul this year and were grateful to our hard working helpers.
Thomas was pretty content to ride along in the apple wagon.

As the leaves started to fall, we had some very eager leaf rakers. Even Thomas wanted to get in on the fun this year.

And the day after Labor Day means  Back to School around here. Always fills me with mixed emotions- sad to see a fun summer coming to and end but grateful for a new school year of growth and fun.
