Medical School Graduation

Trent's medical school graduation kind of snuck up on us. I know that sounds funny, but it's true!  Possibly because it's just a stepping stone for us and right in the middle of residency. Or possibly because we were both so engrossed in the everyday maintenance of our life. All the same, it was an exciting event. It really was so fun to pause and recognize all the hard work that Trent has put in to get to this point. This guy juggles a lot and does it SO well. I think this picture about sums it up:

He is intelligent, dedicated, compassionate, and so well-rounded. He more than deserves the extra letters behind his name. Introducing Trent Clifton, DMD, MD.
And while he's had to sacrifice a lot of home time to make this happen, the kids and I are his number one and we know it!

Residency half-way point: We can do this.

So happy Dacia came to celebrate with us.

And having Trent's parents here made it so special.

Now that the medical school years are over, we have delved into the general surgery year with both feet. He'll rotate on general surgery rotations until January when he'll be on anesthesia. Starting next July, he'll be back on oral surgery until we finish.
Onward!
