We had a very unique, two-part Thanksgiving this year.
Trent had to work on Thanksgiving and so we had our family Thanksgiving the week prior to the actual holiday.
It's the first year I haven't hosted a group in our home, but it was still nice to have a chance to cook our feast for our own little family.
We really enjoy cooking together!
Nathan, the stuffing and gravy master.
Chuck Salad was a favorite.
The kids had school off through all of Thanksgiving week. We took advantage of that and got to get away to Texas to see the Thurstons. It was hard to be apart from Trent for the holiday but a great trip and good family time.
This was his hospital-provided Thanksgiving dinner.
These cousins had a great time! Lisa and her family drove down from Utah and it was a mini family reunion. The kids literally dug this massive hole nearly every waking minute we were there. It really bridged any age gaps we had and they had good, dirty fun.
Age order, minus Thomas and Matthew
Heidi and Lindsay. She sure has some great cousins to look up to!
Matthew loved family home evening with the group!
What a fun time we had! The week went too fast. We can't wait too go back.
