One of the kids' favorite garden activities is digging up the potatoes so they can find all the grubs. We like getting rid of the grubs to keep the Japanese beetle population low. The excitement is further compounded when they get to feed them to the chickens. Look at that. I'm sure the grubs provide such a satisfying meal for those chickens. They're so plump!
