Grandma & Grandpa!

Sometimes what you really need is a really good dose of Grandma and Grandpa. We all did. And we got one! My wonderful parents were able to swing by our place on their drive back from their 1 year mission in New York. We were so excited to welcome them to our home with open arms. The kids had about a year and a half (the time since their last visit to AZ) of tricks and things to show them. And lots of hugs and cuddles. Heidi had anticipated their visit by making several special cards etc and kept asking me if she would get cuddle time with Grandma on the couch.
Some highlights of the visit-

Being Grandma's special yarn helper while she crocheted.

Cuddling, of course.

More crochet time.

Lots of silliness with Grandpa. And a special ice cream trip to Dairy Queen (which I don't have pics of cause my mom and I were out shopping at the time, which was a definite highlight in and of itself :).

Lots and lots of hugs.

We love our Grandma and Grandpa missionaries and are so proud of what they've done over the last year. Such a good example for all of us.

After spending a long (but very fast) weekend together, we bid them on their way as they finally ended their long cross-country drive and finally went HOME.
Love you both soooo much!

Awww, looks like a great time! I love how Heidi is being the "yarn holder."
