One Last Post about Arizona--Something We Won't Miss!

Living in fear that one day you will wake up and come across one of these lovelies is one thing I'm glad to bid good riddance! Trent was thrilled to take some of our visitors during graduation on "scorpion hunting" excursions. My dad, his sister, Shayla, and even a few neighbor friends of mind who were curious about what was living in their back yard (totally unaware of the creepiness of it all). Apparently it didn't take very long to find these monsters. And what could be more disgusting than a scorpion eating a cockroach? I must admit that it is a little cool that he found a mother scorpion with babies on its back--twin scorpions: how cute! Shudder!

Trent sprayed them and put them in a jar so a friend in dental school can cast them into metal. Gross, if you ask me. And isn't it just great that we didn't see any scorpions in our neighborhood the entire time we lived in Gilbert (Trent had to go to another neighborhood to find these creatures) and the day after we moved our next door neighbor, Jen, found one in her garage...

NO!!! Tell Jen I'm so sorry for her! Did Trent invite the scorpions over by being interested in them?
