Our boys (minus Matthew) had a very successful Fathers & Sons campout. Nathan was so excited! There was a chance of rain but it held off and was nice weather. Even the preparations of getting the gear together and packed seemed to be so fun to him.
They took the little pup tent which was just the right size for the two of them and kept them nice and toasty all night.
Fire-popped popcorn was a real hit with Nathan and his friends.
Tin foil dinner + first time using his own mess kit = one very happy little camper. He also loved drinking from an aluminum can that he could contribute to his "business." He asked others who were drinking from aluminum cans if he could have them when they were done drinking.
Mommy LOVES this picture of him all tuckered out and snuggled into his bed.
I love that my boys have a tradition they love to do together. Another year or so and Matthew will be joining the crew!
