Halloween Fun

This holiday held lots of festivities for us this year!  A couple weeks ago we went up to the Harmon's for our monthly "playdate" and did a fun craft together.

We created these cute cheesecloth ghosts using starch and the kids were thrilled. And we came home with very cute decorations!

We also got together with our playgroup friends for a Halloween Party at the Gentry's house. The kids just loved decorating cookies...

And doing a little Halloween craft together.

We also had our church trunk 'r treat which is always very fun. We got some dry ice to give our trunk a spooky effect and boy, the kids sure loved playing with the "steam" afterwards.

On the actual October 31st we did some good 'ole trick or treating around our neighborhood. It was the first year we've done it where the kids have been old enough to really get into it. They had a BLAST.
Here we are stopped by at Elizabeth's and Emily's house:

And of course, Jen's.

Peering in Bishop's door...

Howard's

And here is the Sugar Plum Princess and the Fireman up close.
Unfortunately not a smiling picture but we'll take what we can get!

We met up with our neighbors and Walker and the kids traipsed around the neighborhood together. They adore being together in case you can't tell...

We also enjoyed some Halloween cookie decorating and delivering to neighbors.

Chubby hands rolling with small rolling pins happens to be one of my favorite sights. Don't you think?
(this is what Heidi's hair looks like after it's been straightened. About twice a year she convinces me to using my flat iron on it.)

It was a happy, festive time and now we are READY for November and all the wondrous, cozy holidays to come!

Ok, those are some of the CUTEST pictures I've ever seen. I LOVE how in one especially captures Heidi's personality. :) I love it!
