The 11th Annual to be exact. My good friend Mari and I have been celebrating our birthdays together just like this for 11 consecutive years. Since we share a birthday month, we designate one day in June (or sometimes in July if we are a bit late) for an outing we affectionately named... The Annual. We take eachother to lunch at Brick Oven. Our first year was the year I got my driver's license and we arrived in style- in my '87 Nissan Sentra. We've made it a point to make it happen every year amidst college, work, trips, marriage, babies, and all the twists and turns life has brought.
This year's annual was a grrrrreat. We left kids at home and were able to sit and just talk and of course, enjoy lunch. Happy Birthday, Mari!
