The following picture is of his current study set-up:
He has the two monitors, each connected to a separate computer: the one on the left has the Internet, reference material (his textbooks on the computer, study helps/charts he creates for himself, etc.), and an email he writes to his professor with all the questions from his "group study" session so he can get clarification on things. The one on the right has the PowerPoint slideshows with his notes (all in OneNote) as well as a recording of his professor's lecture. He can click on a note and jump to that particular point in the lecture to remember what the professor was saying. Also on the right monitor is live streaming video of his classmate (thanks, Skype)! They both have webcams and use them to study with each other. It is really quite nice because he can be at home but they can still bounce ideas off of each other. It's kinda funny to listen to their "study group" and then pop my head in and Trent is talking to the computer....
Did you ever know your dentist had to go through something similar to make it through his dental school? And now--despite all his quirkiness as a student--he is working in your mouth. Hmmmm.

Wow! That looks really intense. I guess we are still in the stone ages here at UK. By the way, your little girl is precious. I love the picture of her in her halloween costume, looking at herself in the mirror. Super cute!
That's crazy- and I bet Trent LOVES having the two comp set-up. Tom likes to use multiple monitors as well as his laptop sometimes at work. I couldn't keep it straight! Go Trent!
