Thanksgiving Week

We have had a wonderful Thanksgiving week! It has been fantastic to have Trent around and get to spend some quality family time together and spend time with family we miss so much!

Day before Thanksgiving: We enjoyed waking up to a cloudy/rainy day (which hasn't happened in a LONG time) and spent the day cooking and preparing for the next day. Trent's parents came into town and came to visit us at our home. We LOVED every minute we had with them! Heidi was overjoyed to have grandparents and aunts around. The Harmon's joined us for a sleepover that night and we all filled the kitchen the next morning. Trent and Monica made A LOT of rolls for the occasion.

Thanksgiving day: What a busy and fun day this turned out to be! We had Thanksgiving Dinner #1 at Trent's grandparents house. As you can see below, Heidi and Oakley had more fun moving the little chairs around than eating!

Our second dinner of the day was spent at Trent's Aunt Vickie's house. We enjoyed every traditional dish you might imagine. Heidi was particularly fond of the creamy fruit salad. (it had marshmallows in it...who wouldn't want marshmallows for dinner??)
