Christmas Morning!

Christmas morning was EXCITING this year! The kids were both anxious to see what Santa brought and Mom and Dad were very excited to see the kids reactions to what Santa left.
Nathan woke up around 8:00 AM and Heidi was up by 8:15 AM. After a late night the night before we enjoyed a nice leisurely start to the morning.

After poring through the contents of stockings we started in on the presents!

Heidi was SO happy Santa found a gumball machine for her. She knew Santa brought her cousin Kelsey one last year so was convinced he would pull through for her this year. He did, thank goodneess!

After opening presents we got ready for our church meeting at noon. We had a nice meeting full of music and inspiration and it was wonderful to remember the sacred meaning of the day. 

After church we came home to a lazy afternoon of playing with toys, naps, and getting ready for our trip the next day.
