February means birthday season is in full swing at our house. We loved celebrating our Nathan!
It's hard to believe he's 6 years old already.
Daddy created a fun dinosaur landscape cake for him. He really loved it. Especially since he got to keep the plastic dinosaur set afterwards!
It was family party year for Nathan since he'd celebrated with friends for his 5th birthday. He had a very involved and adoring audience for present opening time.
Here they are all admiring the bug collecting kit that he had just opened!
Nathan at 6:
- Is a wonderful, patient, and attentive older brother to his two younger brothers.
- Loves playing outside. I asked him what his "must-do's" for our summer bucket list were and he said "climb the tree, play on the deck, dig in the dirt,"
- Has really gotten the hang of reading and is improving quickly.
- Loves anything to do with nature and animals. He loves to watch the show Wild Kratts and then tell me ALL the facts about what he's learned.
- Loves playing with Heidi.
- Loves working outside and is pretty much up for helping with any project. Especially if it involves tools.
- Has been super attentive to our vegetable garden. One of his summer goals is to become a good gardener :)
- Enjoys playing with his Legos. He is really creative and makes some pretty neat things, usually vehicles.
- Favorite foods: spaghetti and lasagna, scrambled eggs, peanut butter sandwiches.
Nathan, I feel so very blessed to be your Mom. You bring peace and sunshine to all of our lives and we LOVE you.
