Our Matthew boy is 2 years old! He is a delightful little boy.
This picture wasn't on his birthday but captures his personality so well: happy, excited, curious, energetic, talkative, and always on the move.
Daddy made him this sweet caterpillar cake using cupcakes.
He loved it.
Feeling not exactly sure what he was supposed to do with all that attention.
Christmas was close enough that he knew exactly how to open presents and loved it.
It was so fun to have the Clayton's here to celebrate with us!
A few things about Matthew at 2 years old:
- Went from speaking one or two words to sentences around his birthday
- Loves to play with vehicles of any kind.
- Imaginative play really is becoming something you love to do.
- Heidi and Nathan are your heroes.
- Tantrums come and go. Some good days and some days where frustration gets the better of you. Speaking more has definitely helped quite a bit.
- Breakfast is your favorite meal of the day.
- Favorite foods: oatmeal, cheesesticks, scrambled eggs, pb&j sandwiches, bananas, lasagna.
- Naps from 1-4 pm.
- Sleeps at night from 8 pm- 7 am.
We LOVE you Matthew! You make life so fun.
