The fleeting moments of babyhood

My baby boy turns one today. Oh, was sweet, squishy, pure, and mellow love he has brought to my life.

Isn't it funny that before a baby comes, you really can't imagine them in your life? And then, once they are here they manage to etch out a place in your heart that was somehow already there?

Glad you are ours, Nathan! I can't wait to watch you grow!
