More (endless) Winter Fun

A SNOW day! We've had so many this winter they are not too uncommon. But this one was especially wonderful for a few reasons- we had enough snow to actually do some good playing, the temperatures were not bitter cold, and the best of all- UK got cancelled and Trent didn't have class. It was very festive, indeed!
We have the BEST kids and teenagers on our little street and they all gathered for some good sledding fun.

And Trent took Matthew out for his first trip down the sledding hill. He approved!

And we just had to document the cuteness of these tiny mittened hands.

Nathan has been bound and determined to help with the clearing of the driveway after each storm. He's been struggling with our big adult-sized shovel and so Trent searched out a good, sturdy, child-sized snow shovel (and drove across town to get it) and boy, was Nathan ever happy. I think it was a good investment- now he happily and voluntarily clears the entire driveway with each snowfall. He just looks so cute and tiny out there doing his work!

And sometimes he recruits Heidi's help also.

One of the churches near our house had this sign in front. We got a chuckle out of it.

And just for memory's sake I'll include this pretty picture of deer crossing through our back field at dinner time.
