Canyon Lake

Last weekend we spent Saturday at Canyon Lake with Trent's family. Trent's dad had rented a couple jet skis to celebrate Shayla's 4.0 GPA and we got to go along to celebrate with them. Very fun day. Just wanted to document with a few pictures from the day.

Nathan is obviously enjoying his time at the lake with Grammy Joyce.

Monica, Oakley, Trent, and Heidi testing the waters. Heidi was a bit timid at first but realized quickly how much FUN it was in the lake. She spent almost the whole day in the water and we had to pull her away when it was time to go home. She fell asleep in the car on the way home absolutely exhausted from all her water play.


This cute group found a crawdad swimming by their toes. Trent got it contained in this cup for the little ones to examine closely.

Trent and I feeling pretty cool as we get ready to take a spin on the jet ski. Our feelings of coolness diminished quickly -- we capsized about two minutes later as we were making our first turn.
