The kids are really into Family Home Evening right now. Heidi and Nathan are both eager to take turns with the lesson, conducting, etc. Things really got exciting with the addition of our new microphone. When Trent's Grandma Ray passed away his Grandpa was getting rid of many things including this little microphone. We don't have speakers to hook it up to so it's completely non-functional but that doesn't matter one little bit to this crowd. I love this picture below with Nathan bending over the microphone to give the opening prayer!
Heidi and Nathan set up this little make-shift podium each week with the piano bench, sometimes adding decorations or things that go with the lesson.
We recently acquired a little stand when cleaning our Trent's parents' attic and that has made things even more official and fun!
Some of their favorites right now are leading the music, making announcements, giving the lessons and learning to play sardines during game time!
