We are very blessed to live on a wonderful street. The neighbors who surround us have lived here a long time and have been raising kids together who are now turning into teenagers. They have welcomed us warmly and served our family during this crazy year in many ways. Every year the Reeds hold the Annual Christmas Bunco Night. When we first moved in they excitedly told us about their two main events each year- the bunco night in December and the summer campout in July.
The kids really looked forward to going again this year- it is a very kid friendly evening and ALL ages participate fully. When you get a "BUNCO" you get to wear this elf hat until you pass it on to the next winner. Heidi was very pleased with a chance to wear it.
Last year the big joke was that Jehoshaphat was "disqualified" for cheating so he had this wanted-style poster with his mug shot on it adorning the front door.
He was being a party pooper and working on finishing some clean up in his basement so we all had to go retrieve him and bring him down to the Reeds with a rousing rendition of Jingle Bells!
Lots of silliness...

Everyone waiting patiently to see who the winner of the door prizes will be this year..
Jill, the hostess, showing off her big prize.
Heidi won "most Christmasy outfit," which of course made her pretty thrilled.
We love our neighbors!!!
| I had to bow out early to put Matthew to bed. Trent say she looks awkward in this picture because he was running from the camera but the timer beat him and took the picture before he was in position. |
